What do I need to sign up?

You only need a U.S. based Stripe account to use the service, however for best results connect your FreshBooks or Xero account to automate your bookkeeping.

Is it complicated to use?

No. We provide detailed instructions for adding a 'Pay now' button or link to your invoices. We take care of bank account verification, ACH debit authorization, and secure storage of payment information.

Can I also accept credit card payments?

Yes. To reduce your exposure to credit card fees you can add a surcharge or set a limit for the maximum amount you're willing to accept via card.

Are there any other fees?

The fee for a failed or rejected ACH payment is $4.

The fee for a disputed ACH payment is $15.

Stripe charge separate fees for successful credit card payments and chargebacks.
